My lab has ordered two sets of e-beam evaporator and the matching controller from ACME (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd., installed in the photoelectron spectroscopy experimental line station and the catalysis and surface science experimental station, mainly to evaporate metals such as Zr, Ce, Au, Cu, Ag etc. The crucible of the e-beam evaporator is easy to replace; the flux of the controller is very stable, the operation is convenient and simple with touch screen. It's easy to get high-quality thin film samples, which ensures the smooth progress of further analysis and testing. During the period when the systems were open to external users, their excellent stability was well received.

Technology Co., Ltd. We currently have ACME e-beam evaporators, k-cell evaporators and the matching controllers installed in my

variable temperature scanning proble microscopy system. The e-beam evaporators are mainly for the evaporation of metal, such

as Pt, Pd. The K-cell evaporators are used for organic molecule depositions. With the excellent stability and controllability, the ACME

products have been extremely important tools for the fabrications of 2D materials, single-atom-alloy catalysts, and molecular

nanostructure  in my laboratory. In addition, we are using ACME tip etching unit to fabricate plasmonic probes for ultrahigh vacuum

tip-enhanced Raman spectroscopy. Below are some experimental data collected using their high-quality products.

Our research interest is in atomically-precise design of new catalytic materials using a combined wet-chemistry and atomic layer deposition (ALD) method. Because the standard commercial ALD system is difficult to meet my experimental needs, ACME (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. customized an atomic layer deposition system according to our needs, and the system was officially put into operation in March 2019. So far, the system has been running well, the performance is very stable, and the repeatability of the experiment has exceeded my expectations. My research group has obtained a series of high-quality research data by using this system, and is gradually collating articles and submitting for publication. The design of the system is novel and reliable, while meeting our needs, it ensures the easy operation and scalability of the system. The technical service team responded to our problems and suggestions in a timely manner, and can provide effective solutions in a short period of time, which provides a very important guarantee for the smooth progress of our experiments.

Our research is based on synchrotron radiation photoelectron spectroscopy/absorption spectroscopy and scanning tunneling microscopy techniques to carry out the fine characterization and physical property correlation of the surface and interface electronic structure and atomic structure of low-dimensional material. We have extremely high requirements for the stability, repeatability and easy operation of the experimental equipment. We purchased e-beam evaporator and e-beam controller from ACME (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd., which are mainly used to evaporate metals such as Pt, Co, and Fe etc. The evaporator has been used for nearly 2 years, during which there's no quality problem, the performance is very stable, the material reloading is convenient, and the controller touch screen is simple to operate. Our group has several sets of E-beam evaporators, K-cell evaporators and the matching controllers provided by ACME (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. They are important tools for sample preparation when we research basic catalysis and low-dimensional surface nanostructure. The E-beam evaporators are mainly used to evaporate high melting point materials such as silicon and cerium etc., the

K-cell evaporators are mainly to evaporate metals such as iron and gold etc. We've got a series of high-quality experimental data, which provide important technical support for our related research. We have some publications so far. The material reloading of these evaporators is convenient, the controllers are multi-functional and simple to operate. The performances of the products are stable and reliable, which greatly improves the efficiency of our experiments.
